We all know how seductive self-tanners can be, but if it makes you look like the victim of a tomato attack, it’s not good at all! I mean: does he know how he looks like?

Either he just loves eating large amounts of carrots and sweet potatoes, or he is obsessed with looking youthful and thinks that he actually looks good. That would explain why he said at a certain time :“All of the women on The Apprentice flirted with me – consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”

Believe it or not, Trumps thinks his oompa loompa skin makes him super attractive.

Here are some tips on how to use  self-tanning lotions and not look like Donald Trump:

• Choose a type of self-tanner: gradual self-tanning formulas, instant tanning formulas or face tanning formulas and pick the right color. Even though most self-tanners work on the body and the face equally well, if you have a difficult skin, you’d better pick that one specifically for the face
• Exfoliate your skin well in the shower before tanning
• If your skin is very dry, moisturize it after exfoliating
• Dry off! While you’re applying  the tanning lotion, your skin should be completely dry.
• Use latex gloves to protect your hands from turning orange, and smooth on self-tanner in circular motions. Blend well into skin for a natural look
• Start at your ankles and save your arms and hands for last
• Be extra careful when you apply self-tanner on your face, mainly when you apply it around your nose, eyes and above the top lip – these areas pick up more color because they tend to be more drier. You don’t want to end up with a beautiful pair of raccoon eyes, just like Trump
• Give the formula extra time to dry, then use a talc-free baby powder all over
• Avoid showering or sweating for 8-10 hours
• Rock that tan!
